
MyFarmbase Africa Trains Youths on Soilless Farming in Abeokuta
As a follow-up to AgriTech Lab 1.0, we hosted 20 youths and participants of AgriTech Lab 1.0 at a soilless farm where they underwent a 3-hour long on-site training on soilless farming. The training which held on Wednesday 12th June, 2019 at Abeokuta, Ogun State was facilitated by Samson Ogbole, the Co-founder of PS Nutraceuticals.

Our trainer, Mr. Samson took the participants through the basics of Hydroponics and Aquaponics farming, the principle involved, the exciting business opportunities it provides such as agricultural extension services, input suppliers and many more.

Speaking in an interview, the Chief of Operations/Co-founder, MyFarmbase Africa emphasized the significance of the training saying, “We are grooming youths to take advantage of the business/employment opportunities in the African agribusiness landscape and boost food security across Africa”.

The training was very exciting as Mr. Samson engaged the participants with lots of questions before going in-depth into an enlightening practical session on soilless farming.
